Our website address is: https://theloveratsduo.com. We are a professional Pop and Rock Duo from Coventry, UK called The Love Rats Duo. We are a trading subsidiary of Tetlow Music.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Newsletter subscribers

For customers subscribing to our Monthly Newsletters: We collect your name and email address. We will receive your name and email address when you type it into one of our subscription boxes on our website. We will use it to send you the monthly newsletters that you have subscribed to receive.

Booking enquiries

For customers making Booking Enquiries via the ‘Quote me now!’ form on our Website: we will collect your name, address, phone number, email address & event information. We will receive your information when you fill in our online ‘Quote me now!’ form. We will use this information to check if we are available for the event in question and to continue a dialogue with the enquirer.

Confirmed bookings

For customers who have made a Booking and have completed our Standard Live Engagement Contract: We will collect your name, address, phone number, email address, event information, your home address and signature (digital/physical). We will receive your information when you fill out our Standard Live Engagement Contract. The purpose of the contract is essentially to provide a legal agreement between two parties (the Hirer and the Band) confirming that one has agreed to do something for the other in return for a fee.

Email

We will only request information that is relevant to the enquiry. It is the customers’ responsibility to not supply additional information that may be later viewed as sensitive or unnecessary to the enquiry.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
